Le Caire

As-Salaam-aleykum from Cairo or Le Caire, as my carte d'embarquement read last night on Air France 503. I went to the Pyramids today and there is only one word to sum it up: MAGIC! I climbed down about 200 feet downslope and then 200 feet upslope into the funerary chamber at Khafere's Pyramid (the middle one.) The Sphinx was awesome too and I got to ride a camel called Mickey Mouse! :-) Oh lord, I fell into that tourist trap but it was worth it.:-) The people are really friendly and love Indians. I went Papyrus and perfume shopping today and ate some heavenly baba ghanough and hummus. Off to Luxor tomorrow! More to come.
