Eliot Spitzer should resign. He cut through Wall Street with missionary zeal and made them quake in their boots. However, people who live in glass houses don't throw stones. This whole thing was uncovered when some banks reported suspicious transactions to the IRS. Coincidence? I don't think so. Spitzer made many enemies in the financial industry and now it's payback.
I have no sympathy for him. He is a sleazebag and his wife is even more stupid to stand by him. If you are going to run for office you better be sure that you have NO skeletons in your closet because they are going to come out. I think he should be prosecuted under the Mann Act for helping transport prostitutes across state lines.
In a pathetic aside, Jim McGreevy's ex-wife is now making the rounds of the talk shows saying everything short of "I told you so." The media is giving her fifteen minutes of fame and she's milking it for all it's worth. She was on Larry King last night and on the Today show this morning.
If Spitzer does not resign, he should be impeached. As we have seen in the past few years, holier than thou people on both sides of the aisle like Larry Craig, Ted Haggard, and Eliot Spitzer have fallen harder and farther because of their moral grandstanding.

Onward to India
So, I have decided to visit India for the first time in 15 years. I've spent the last few years traveling all over the world and, now that I have almost exhausted my primary list of places to see, I am off to India this summer to reconnect with old memories and spend two weeks doing it. I'm spending a week in Bangalore and 4 days in Goa. The last time I was in Goa, I was 3 and it was 1979. Sources tell me that I picked up a fish from a fisherwoman and ran down the beach. Seems like that was the last exercise I got! :-)
I've always been attracted to the ocean. I've taken a dip in the Bay of Bengal, the Arabian Sea, the Atlantic Ocean, the Caribben Sea, and the Pacific Ocean and it never ceases to amaze me. I would like to make my millions and just set sail over the oceans. :-)
